Principals

Imran Malik

A senior technical leader with extensive experience implementing CMM compliant solutions for government and commercial organizations. Imran was part of team instrumental in achieving a Level 3 CMM assessment through definition, adoption and improvement of many process improvements and standards for Optimos. His current interests include strategy, Knowledge Management, Enterprise Relationship Management and the development of high technology solutions.

For the past 9 years as CRM Practice Manager, Imran has focused on implementing strategic initiatives in Customer Relationship systems at NARA, USPTO, USDA, and also several commercial organizations. He has worked with C-level executives define and execute business and technology initiatives to increase productivity and ensure ROI from their IT investments. Prior to Optimos, Imran was a Sr. Project Manager with Unisys where he advised senior executive clients in the banking and high technology industries on issues of corporate strategy and IT effectiveness. In addition he has led and managed banking automation projects for several banks. He has also helped to co-found a start-up Information Technology services company.

Imran has very strong organization, planning and problem solving skills and is very well versed with state of the art CRM and ERP packages like Siebel and SAP besides many other open and proprietary systems and technologies like Oracle, J2EE and .NET. He holds a successful track record of hands on design/configuration leadership. He is recognized as an expert in government constituency response, case management, helpdesk automation and service IT solutions.

Imran has a Master’s degree in Information Systems and BS degree in Computer and Information Systems from Northern Arizona University.

Richard Anderson (Rick):

A senior technology executive with leadership experience managing the sales, installation, implementation, education, documentation, and design of integrated business systems and related enterprise (ERP) software. Rick’s background includes several years of formal education in manufacturing technology, computer programming, graphics, system design, user interface, leadership and management.

As President of TTW, a company specializing in delivering integrated lean manufacturing and ERP solutions; Rick was responsible for national sales, company growth, and the North American development of WinMan ERP/CRM software. During his time at TTW, he engaged audiences from AICPA, APICS, and various universities to discuss the integration of modern lean accounting and manufacturing practices with traditional MRP as a single integrated solution utilizing a blended approach.

As Implementation Manager for Everest Software, a company specializing in SME enterprise solutions; Rick developed a national implementation team and a three phase implementation process to deliver consistent, successful implementations to generate raving fans level of customer satisfaction.

Rick received a Master’s degree in Industrial Technology from Purdue University, and a BS in Industrial Technology from Western Illinois University; both with a focus on integration of computers and manufacturing technology. He has served as an Industrial Advisor to Purdue University’s Computer Integrated Manufacturing Technology department where he advised on current industrial trends and curriculum.

Rick is involved with local area youth sports where he has been on the Board of Directors for Eastern Loudoun Babe Ruth and on the Board of Directors for Dulles Little League. He currently coaches softball at West Potomac High School.

Shabbir Hussain:

A highly accomplished senior Software Engineering, Technology Management and Operations executive with strong business expertise. Mr. Shabbir Hussain has 25+ years of experience in senior management positions specializing in product development, project management, customer interactions, business analysis, quality assurance and technology governance.

Shabbir has an excellent track record of transforming Product Engineering teams into very high performing customer oriented teams delivering quality product releases on promised dates. He implements best practices, performance metrics and process automation for transparent project management and team’s performance. He also has an expertise in business process reengineering, offshore development, enterprise software applications and implementing Agile Scrum methodology.

Shabbir was with Everest Software for four years as Vice President of Research & Development, where he spearheaded product development and information system operations. He optimized the company’s global operations by converting offshore India operations into a significant advantage for the company. Prior to Everest Software, Shabbir was the Director Application Development at SSA Global responsible for development of Infinium product line and Chief Operating Officer at Noble Computer Services.

Shabbir holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Brandeis University, Waltham, MA and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mohammad K. Mirza:

As the Managing Principal of Anriva, Mohammad K. Mirza provides tactical direction for Anriva, and is responsible for managing the company’s day to day business activities. Mohammad services as a civil servant with Department of Defense/Department of Navy at Washington Navy Yard. Mohammad has also performed duties as a Contract Officer Representative (COR) and administers on several intra-governmental contracts and financial operations.

Mohammad is an accomplished navy veteran who has served in the U.S. Navy with distinction for 22 years, both on active duty and in Navy Reserves. Throughout his navy career, he served within varying capacities and responsibilities on several ships, submarines, shore installations and joint commands and has held positions of command at every rank. Mohammad holds and maintains a Top Secret/Special Background Investigation (TS/SBI) clearance.

Mohammad has earned a degree in Computer Science and Management Computer Information Systems from Park University (Parkville, Missouri) with Summa Cum Laude. He is actively involved in local community and events and helps intellectually disabled people at several group homes. Throughout his career, Mohammad has received numerous decorations, citations and personal awards.
